Hello all. I have bought a non runner mondeo tdci 1.6 2012. I won't have a proper computer to try till tomorrow but done the dash trick to get codes this is what I got. F00616, c15100, c42268, c40168, c41568, c41668, c42068. Can anyone shine any light on these or common faults on why it won't start!
Hi All - new to the forum so go easy on me! :) I have a 2005 Focus Estate 1.6 TDCi. It's done 90k and had no problems, passed MOT a couple of weeks ago. The other day on the motorway I was doing about 80mph when it started decelerating - down to about 50mph, then there was a bang and all power to
Then I tried to start it again. Everything worked the first time and the second time, but the third time it did not start again. And now it won't start no matter what I try. Got advice from a Ford dealership to switch to two relays, it did not work. The battery that was new last year has been tested and works. Everything else works, light
Hi, last night whilst returning home and pulling into the drive there was a slight whine coming from the engine bay. The whine return this morning. The car turns over fine but just won't start. The engine management light has also come on. The recovery guy plugged his phone into the obd2 port and said it was the fuel pump but didn't give her the fault code.

I do not see how it can be the ignition key switch itself. However the PATS sensor coil is usually fitted directly around the ignition key barrel.
- putting it in second gear and pushing to turn over the starter one turn. This did change the sound a bit when i tried to start it afterwards, but then it almost instantly changed back to the old ticking noise. - pushing the car with the clutch down and letting the clutch come up slowly to try and start it without the starter engine.
